General Settings

There're a series of options for you to set with. The most commonly used preferences are displayed on the main screen, for further settings, please click on the button followed with each title.

For MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 files, please refer to Preferences on Create DVD Disc section to get detailed help.You can change some basic settings in this step. The following instruction is designed for WMV and AVI files.

 

  • Video Settings

    Resolution: Choose a resolution from the drop down list, also, you may choose Customize to specify a resolution you want in the Width and Height field.

    Display size: It shows the width and height of your current video settings. The two fields will be enabled when you choose Customize from the resolution field.

    Note: It shows the best slide size for the current video resolution. You can change it in PowerPoint. If the size of your PowerPoint file is smaller than the optimum size, it may look blurry after converted.

    Frame rate: Specifies how many frames your presentation will be played per second. Usually, the default one is recommended.

    Quality: Specifies the video quality of the output movie. Higher quality means larger files size, vice versa.


    Encoder: Here format refers to the video encoder, but not the video format. Usually you do not need to change it.

     

    Audio Settings

    Fidelity: It is the sample rate of the audio. If you care for the file size, you may choose Radio (22.05kHz).

     

    Quality: The default quality is Medium. If you care for the audio quality, change it to High; if you care for the file size, change it to Low.

     

    Encoder: The audio format for the output video, you cannot change it.
