How to make PowerPoint video for YouTube and MySpace

As PowerPoint is an easy and powerful tool to make beautiful slide show. We always use it to make photo albums or other slide shows to share with family and friends. And if you think your slide show is very funny or unique, you may want to upload it to YouTube or MySpace. But YouTube and MySpace only accept 'MPEG,AVI,WMV,MOV' video formats(Resource http://www.google.com/support/youtube/bin/answer.py?answer=55744&topic=10526).
How can we turn the ppt album to video movie? This tutorial aims to help you follow several easy steps to make a PowerPoint slide show video and convert it to YouTube and MySpace video format.

Prepare:
1,A 'ppt' "pptx" or 'pps' "pptm" slide show (photo album etc.)made by PowerPoint.
2, PPT2DVD(A tool to convert PowerPoint slides to video file).

Theory:
Slides made by PowerPoint should be converted to video formats YouTube and MySpace accepted. So we must convert PowerPoint file to 'WMV' or "MPEG" Video format.

Steps:
1,Convert PowerPoint 'ppt/pps/pptx/pptm' to '.WMV /MPG'
1.1 Download PPT2DVD from http://download.ppt-to-dvd.com/ppt2dvd_trial.exe . (Notice, PPT2DVD has upgraded to 4.0.0,which supports converting powerpoint to video such as WMV, AVI , MPEG, with samll size under 100M that YouTube accepted. )

1.2 Install then run it. Press ‘Browse’ to add your PowerPoint slides file . Select the Path of your file and double click the file to add it. Then Press “Next’ in the bottom.
1.3 If you want to convert Mpeg to other formats such as WMV AVI MOV, just use the free service of http://www.media-convert.com/

Choose the folder to where your WMV /MPG video is output to.
Then Press ‘Next’ until finish.

At the end you’ll get a ‘WMV /MPG’ video file.
2. Upload the ‘WMV /MPG’ file to Youtube or Myspace.
Upload link:
Youtube : http://www.youtube.com/my_videos_upload
Myspace: http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.upload

The tool I mentioned above can be downloaded here:

I have a project due tomorrow and there are some really awesome youtube videos I want my class to see when I present but I'm not good with computers and was wondering if there was anyway to put onto something so that they can view them, without me having to go the actual website. Our school has Bess which blocks a lot of websites, including myspace, youtube, and other video viewing sites. So if anyone knows how I can put these videos onto some microsoft program to transfer them and be able to watch them at school i would appreciate it sooo much! It would mean a lot to me!

Hello Kortney Maudie, you can download the videos and then transfer them to the school computers, using a flash drive or USB pen drive. Wondershare Youtube Downloader is an ideal tool for this. Hope it helps.
