18 Jun 09 How can I view PowerPoint 2007 files on the computer with PowerPoint 2003?
I just completed my photo slide show with PowerPoint 2007 and I want to share it with my best friend. However, she only has PowerPoint 2003 on her computer.
How can we view PowerPoint 2007 slide show on the computer with PowerPoint 2003?
Solutions
1. Resave the PowerPoint 2007 presentation in PowerPoint 97-2003 format.
Step 1: Open the PowerPoint slide show.
Step 2: Click Microsoft office button, and click Save as. Then choose PowerPoint 1997-2003 presentation in the file type dropdown list.
2. Use the Package a Presentation for CD feature in PowerPoint 2007.
You can package your presentation to the CD for distributing freely. To packages a presentation for CD, do the following:
Step1: In PowerPoint, open the presentation that you want to package.
Step2: Click the Microsoft Office Button, point to the arrow next to Publish, and then click Package for CD.
Step3: In the Package for CD dialog box, click Options, and then select the options that you want.
Step4: Click Copy to CD.
Disadvantages of the solutions above:
Some of the effects in PowerPoint 2007 would be lost. The solutions below can solve the problems caused by version difference and avoid the missing problem.
